Time to Act

From 5 to 13 May 2026, young people are taking part in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Time to Act” in Dobczyce, Poland. The activity is organised under the Erasmus+ Accreditation in the Youth Sector and focuses on ecology, sustainability, environmental responsibility and youth action.

The project creates space for young people to learn through experience, cooperation and direct contact with nature. During the exchange, participants explore topics connected with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially climate action, responsible consumption and sustainable lifestyles.

Throughout the programme, participants take part in workshops, reflection sessions, peer learning activities, intercultural evenings and outdoor education. One of the key moments of the project is an educational hike, during which young people practise teamwork, navigation, shared responsibility and outdoor cooking. These activities help them understand that sustainability is not only a topic to discuss, but something that can be practised in everyday life.

The exchange also gives participants the opportunity to prepare and lead peer workshops on the SDGs. In this way, young people become not only learners, but also multipliers who can share knowledge, raise awareness and inspire action in their local communities.

“Time to Act” supports young people in building a stronger connection with nature, developing communication and cooperation skills, and reflecting on how their choices can contribute to a more sustainable future.

The project reminds us that meaningful change often starts with small steps: learning together, acting locally and taking responsibility for the world around us.
